Austin, TX -- Last July, documentary filmmaker Alex Jones infiltrated Bohemian Grove, becoming the first person to capture the bizarre occult activities of the all-male elite club membership on videotape. This footage recently aired in England, Ireland and Scotland on UK Channel Four as Part Three of a four-part special: The Secret Rulers of the World.

Alex Jones was inside the 2,700 acre elite compound for over five hours, and states, "Thank God I caught the whole thing on videotape because no one would believe me if I hadn’t. I have trouble believing what I witnessed with my own two eyes. It was actually that bizarre."

For over 128 years, world leaders have traveled to Sonoma County California in the month of July. Almost immediately, bizarre rumors began to circulate in the local press that something dark and occult was going on. The rumors entailed dark stories of men in black and red robes and a giant 40-foot stone owl, to which something, or someone was being sacrificed.

Alex Jones, being a radio talk-show host had heard the rumors many times, so he decided to look into it and did some research. To his surprise, mainstream media articles from Parade Magazine, the Associated Press, Reuters, the Sacramento Bee, and the Washington Times confirmed the incredible. World leaders were traveling yearly to the rural redwood-covered hills of Northern California and photos actually existed of the giant stone owl and the men in black and red robes.

The Bohemian Grove is one of the more important places in the United States where businessmen, politicians, army officers, and scientists can sit around with each other and talk about anything they're interested in. Although networking is officially not allowed, some business deals can always be made behind a couple of trees. The quote "makes it easier to pick up the phone" has been mentioned more than once. Politics can be discussed openly and whether a particular candidate is liked by the Bohemians or not can make or break his career. About 85% of the Bohemian Grove members are from California.

The Bohemian Grove is a 2,700-acre virgin redwood grove in Northern California, 75 miles north of San Francisco (map), where the rich, the powerful, and their entourage visit with each other during the last two weeks of July while camping out in cabins and tents.

It's an Elks Club for the rich; a fraternity party in the woods; a boy scout camp for old guys, complete with an initiation ceremony and a totem animal, the owl. It's owned by the Bohemian Club, which was founded in San Francisco in 1872. The Bohemians started going on their little retreat shortly after the club was founded; it became big-time by the 1880s, and it continues today.

However, it is not a place of power. It's a place where the powerful relax, enjoy each other's company, and get to know some of the artists, entertainers, and professors who are included to give the occasion a thin veneer of cultural and intellectual pretension. Despite the suspicions of many on the Right, and a few on the Left, it is not a secret meeting place to plot, plan, or conspire.
