Sovereignty means "supreme, independent authority. …" National sovereignty means "supreme, independent authority in government." The United States bought its sovereignty with the blood of sovereign individuals who laid down their lives so this nation could be free from the dictates and demands of another nation.

The United States joined the community of nations as a sovereign nation. Over time, however, little by little, this sovereignty has been stolen.

Article 2 of the Convention on the Law of the Sea declares: "The sovereignty over the territorial sea is exercised subject to this Convention and to other rules of international law." This treaty, if ratified, will steal a little sovereignty from the United States.

A little sovereignty was stolen by the North American Free Trade Agreement, by Article 511, which requires that each member nation conform its laws to NAFTA's uniform regulations within 180 days of the issuance of regulations. These NAFTA regulations are issued by non-elected bureaucrats. Their power to compel the United States to change its laws is the usurpation – or theft – of national sovereignty.

The U.N.-funded Commission on Global Governance declared in 1995 that national "sovereignty has to be exercised collectively."

There is no such thing as "collective" sovereignty. Sovereignty is "supreme and independent authority," or it is not sovereignty. A nation that exercises its sovereignty "collectively" is not a sovereign nation, but a member of a collective government that exercises authority over the members of the collective.

Suppose, loyal reader, you and I were to work together in secret and hatch a plan that would affect others – perhaps a lot of others – without their knowledge or consent. Would we or would we not be launching a conspiracy? I think we would have to say, Yes.

Now suppose we do the same thing, but instead of keeping it secret we put our agenda on the World Wide Web where anyone with a computer, a modem and an ISP can access it. Never mind that we’ve written it in mindnumbing bureaucratese. Never mind that most of the public is more interested in sports, the Oscars or the latest Survivor series. Never mind that its reporting by the mainstream media is minimal and focused on side issues. The point is, our machinations would be available to any literate person who has the will and the know-how to seek them out.

I doubt we could still call it a conspiracy. What would be the point?

But that is the state of affairs with the UN’s latest confab, the International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD) in Monterrey, Mexico, held from 18 – 22 March, 2002. This meeting continued the agenda set forth in Our Global Neighborhood issued by the Commission on Global Governance in 1995, restated in the Millennium Declaration, and now incorporated into the Monterrey Consensus agreement. Except for the Internet, of course, media reporting was skimpy, even though representatives of 171 nations signed the agreement. The meeting was attended by hundreds of other luminaries, from leaders of non-governmental organizations to CEOs of multinational corporations who attended an International Business Forum on "public / private partnerships."

Less than 20 years after the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) was founded, World War II had arrived and once that war was over, America was ready to join "the League of Nations."

America sat down in San Francisco with Alger Hiss and joined the United Nations, the successor to the League of Nations - Alger Hiss, a charter member of the CFR; Alger Hiss, whose sympathy with communism can no longer be denied.

The U.N. Charter and constitution is a thin paraphrasing of the Soviet model which Alger Hiss borrowed from when he coauthored it. The U.N. constitution is therefore a Marxist socialist paradigm.

World regionalism is spelled out clearly in the U.N. Charter, Chapters 8 through 11, using such terms as "regional arrangements, intergovernmental agreements, and metropolital areas." Advocates of one-world socialism have already divided the world into 85 regions for policing purposes. In adopting the U.N. Charter, Congress has established the Charter as the Supreme Law of the land (Fugi v. State of California, 1950-52).

Following are just some of the policies of the United Nations:

- Control of all zoning matters in the United States and the control of our national parks, rivers and historical sites.

- Control over whether women are allowed to have babies.

- Control over the economic and judicial policies of all nations.

- Programs are being processed to create a tax on citizens of the United States as a permanent method of UN funding.

- The United Nation has its own Army and United States soldiers must swear allegiance to this foreign government. Remember Michael New.

The question of how and why the United Nations is the crux of the great conspiracy to destroy the sovereignty of the United States and the enslavement of the American people within a U.N. one-world dictatorship is a complete and unknown mystery to the vast majority of the American people.

The reason for this unawareness of the frightening danger to our country and to the entire free world is simple. The masterminds behind this great conspiracy have absolute control of all of our mass communications media, especially television, the radio, the press, and Hollywood.

We all know that our State Department, the Pentagon, and the White House have brazenly proclaimed that they have the right and the power to manage the news, to tell us not the truth but what they want us to believe.

They have seized that power on orders from their masters of the great conspiracy and the objective is to brainwash the people into accepting the phony peace bait to transform the United States into an enslaved unit of the United Nations' one-world government.

First of all, bear in mind that the so-called U.N. police action in Korea, fought by the United States in which 150,000 of our sons were murdered and maimed, was part of the plot; just as the undeclared by Congress war in Vietnam in which our sons are dying is part of the plot; just as the plot against Rhodesia and South Africa in which our sons will be dying is part of the U.N. plot.
